Welcome to Beach Stay Motel

Beach Stay Motel, nestled at 421 N Miller St in Rockaway Beach, Oregon, offers a modest and inviting escape for travelers seeking proximity to the Pacific coast. With a solid 4.3-star rating, the motel prides itself on clean, comfortable accommodations highlighted by cozy beds and thoughtfully stocked kitchens, making it ideal for short stays. Guests frequently note the quiet atmosphere and convenient access to the beach just a two-minute walk away, as well as nearby shops and eateries within walking distance.

While the motel’s two-bedroom units provide practicality and charm, some visitors find the living room seating a bit cramped for larger groups. The absence of on-site dining or fitness facilities encourages guests to explore local options, though the small-town setting means dining choices can be limited. Transparency in pricing has been suggested to enhance the booking experience, ensuring guests feel fully informed of fees.

Beach Stay Motel shines in its simplicity and location, offering free Wi-Fi and parking, and caters well to families with its kid-friendly environment. The highlight remains its access to natural attractions, including the nearby Manhattan Beach State Recreation Site and the expansive Oregon coastline. For those drawn to leisurely beach walks and quiet coastal retreats, Beach Stay Motel stands as a dependable and unpretentious base.

Overall, Beach Stay Motel balances comfort, convenience, and coastal charm, making it a worthy choice for travelers seeking a genuine, laid-back beach experience in Rockaway Beach. The place was clean and had comfortable beds in the bedroom. Seating in the living room was not easy to sit four people comfortably. We were not happy with the town we stayed in. Finding food in this town was not only difficult but when we did (gas station style) we did not have much selection. We will not be visiting Rockaway ever again, but will use the vacation house in other places.

It's clean, well kept. 2 bedrooms, bath, kitchen with a small living area. Stocked well for staying a few days with dishes, pots & pans, etc. Only down side or suggestion I'd like to offer them is to advertise and be upfront with the cost and amount of fees they tack on. We stayed 4 days with the listed price of 163.00 a night. Well worth that, but when the email came stated what my card was charged, they had added on over 225.00 in fees and taxes. (85.00 for a cleaning fee, 65.00 for a booking fee....) these are not advertised and while we expect some fees and taxes this is way over the norm. Either increase the rate or have full disclosure on costs.

Great, quiet little place. We stayed in #4 & it was perfect for the price. The jacuzzi tub was a great little addition. Within waking distance to shops & restaurants. Great for the price & location. Our host was fantastic & so was housekeeping. Fun stay!
